The Interventional Radiology Story

On January 16th, 1964 Charles Dotter, a creative and industrious Radiologist, performed the first angioplasty at what would eventually become the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. This bold decision would birth the field of Interventional Radiology and eventually expand into one of the great pioneering fields of medicine.
