Vascular Disease/Peripheral Arterial Disease

Arterial and Venous disease can be treated without an incision to repair aneurysms, remove clot, open narrow or blocked blood vessels, heal venous or arterial insufficiency wounds, and cure leg or arm swelling.

Cancer

Cancers are abnormal growths or tumors (archaic term for swelling) of tissues in the body. Regardless of the origin of the tumor, many tumors can be treated by directly heating or freezing it by placing a needle directly into the tumor using medical imaging. Additionally, tumors just like the rest of the body are fed by arteries that deliver oxygen and nutrients to them. Using the tumor's own blood supply we can precisely deliver special treatments directly to the tumor, sparing the surrounding healthy tissue.

Liver Disease

Liver cirrhosis has many causes and is quite common around the world. Here in the U.S. the leading cause is fatty liver disease which is often diagnosed very late in the disease process. Liver cirrhosis leads to chronic health problems including abdominal fluid accumulation known as "ascites", lung fluid accumulation known as "hepatic hydrothorax", and gastrointestinal bleeding through the development of esophageal and/or gastric varices (abnormally dilated delicate veins) as a result of the obstruction to venous blood flow caused by the scarring in the liver.  Using image guided techniques these symptoms can be alleviated.
